Job Opportunity: Service Manager
Supported Accommodation (1618) | Ofsted Regulated
Locations: Macclesfield (SK10) & Edgeley, Stockport (SK3)
We are recruiting an experienced Service Manager to lead one Ofsted-regulated supported accommodation service for looked after young people aged 1618. This is a key leadership role with real influence, shaping high-quality, trauma-informed services where young people can thrive, not just stay.
Salary: Up to £42,500 (Base Salary £42,500)
The Services
You will oversee two small supported accommodation homes:
Home 1 | Macclesfield (SK10)
2-bed home for young people aged 1618
Currently supporting 1 young person
Home 2 | Edgeley, Stockport (SK3)
2-bed home for young people aged 1618
Currently supporting 1 young person
Both homes provide safe, structured, and supportive environments focused on independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
Who Were Looking For
This role is ideal for an experienced manager who knows the Ofsted landscape and feels confident leading regulated services.
Essential Criteria:
? Previously held Ofsted registration within the last 2 years in supported accommodation (1618)
? Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management (or currently working towards)
? Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulations, and quality standards
? Confident managing registrations, inspections, and action plans
? Values-led approach with a commitment to therapeutic and trauma-informed care
? Strong people leadership and staff development skills

The Role
Overall responsibility for service quality and compliance
Lead Ofsted registration and inspections
Staff leadership, supervision, and performance management
Safeguarding oversight and partnership with external agencies
Embedding therapeutic, person-centred practice across both homes
