We are now recruiting for Relief Support Practitioners to join our established teams in the Scottish Borders.
Our service provides specialist support to people experiencing mental ill health in Melrose and Galashiels, supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey and empowering them to create a fulfilling life in a person‑centred way.
Role Overview
The Relief Support Practitioner role offers flexibility with shifts such as 8:30am‑4:30pm, 9am‑5pm, 1pm‑9pm, sleep‑over shifts, weekends and overnight work. The role requires completing training and working regularly with the team.
Responsibilities
As a Relief Support Practitioner, you will support people with all aspects of daily living at home and in their communities, assist with planning for the future and help prevent the effects of social isolation and loneliness.
Qualifications & Attitude
Experience is welcomed but not required; full training and ongoing support and supervision from the Service Manager are provided. Ideal candidates demonstrate honesty, respect, empathy and compassion and are motivated to work in a people‑centred environment.
