Bluearrow are recruiting for our client a qualified/experienced aircraft painter a leading aerospace MRO facility in Blackwood, Gwent, who specialize in the repair and overhaul of commercial aircraft thrust reversers and nacelles, supporting the EMEA region with OEM, UKCAA, and EASA-approved repairs.

?? Starting Salary: £28,000 per annum
? Plus shift allowance (£82.76/week) & overtime opportunities
?? Working Hours:
Initial Training Period: Monday to Friday: 6am - 2pm or 7am - 3pm
Post-Training Shift Pattern: 2 Weeks Days: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm
1 Week Afternoons: Monday - Thursday: 1.45pm - 9.45pm
Friday: 11.45am - 7.45pm
Overtime Available: Once trained, overtime may be offered before/after shifts and on Saturday mornings
?? Key Responsibilities:
Mix and apply sealants, fillers, primers, and top coats to aircraft parts
Perform masking and cosmetic filling operations
Prepare surfaces for painting with high attention to detail
Support continuous improvement initiatives and project work
Maintain documentation and ensure airworthiness standards
?? Requirements:
Previous aircraft painting experience preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
High attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
Basic arithmetic and computer literacy
Team player with flexibility to support varying shift patterns
