The Role
As our Data Returns Specialist, you will be the bridge between complex funding regulations and operational excellence. You won’t just manage data; you’ll safeguard its integrity and empower your colleagues through expert training and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with Finance and Exams teams to ensure accurate, timely recording of achievements and funding data.
Provide data insights that shape curriculum planning in line with evolving funding requirements.
Configure student record systems and collaborate with BI teams to ensure course fees and waivers are perfectly aligned.
Conduct intensive internal audits and validations to ensure total compliance and "audit-ready" data.
Support and train staff on data processes and changing funding landscapes.
About You
You are a logical thinker who thrives on the details. You enjoy breaking down complex information into digestible summaries and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
What you’ll need:
Proven experience with ILR data, funding rules, and returns.
Strong experience using MIS or Student Record Systems (experience with UNIT-e is a major plus).
A track record of validating, analysing, and correcting large, complex datasets.
Experience in programming and report writing to extract meaningful narratives from data.
Familiarity with audit environments and the ability to adapt to rapid changes in funding guidance.
