The Education Network is working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school to recruit a dedicated Primary Teacher with an SEMH specialism for their resourced provision.
This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact by working with a small group of pupils who require additional social, emotional, and mental health support. The provision is well-resourced and embedded within the wider school community, offering a nurturing environment where both staff and students thrive.
The Role:
* Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to a small group of primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
* Create a supportive, trauma-informed learning environment tailored to individual emotional and behavioural needs.
* Work closely with a skilled team of support staff, the SENCO, external professionals, and parents/carers.
* Promote positive behaviour, emotional resilience, and academic progress through consistent routines and tailored support.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the provision, sharing best practices and innovative approaches.
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
* Experience teaching children with SEMH or in an alternative provision/resourced setting.
* A patient, calm, and flexible teaching approach.
* Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with vulnerable pupils.
* Committed to inclusive education and passionate about improving outcomes for children with additional needs.
