Business Analyst
Initial 4 month FTC
Hybrid (Warwick or Wokingham - 2 days per week onsite)
£60k - £70k per annum DOE
Our utilities client is embarking on an exciting programme to develop a comprehensive standards, governance, and process playbook that will shape how programmes operate across the organisation. This work spans multiple cross‑cutting topics, including governance, data management, and economic modelling standards, and will play a critical role in establishing a consistent and future‑proof framework for programme delivery.
To support the development of this playbook, the organisation is seeking skilled Business Analysts to work closely with topic leads to define, map, and document the standards and processes required. This is a unique opportunity to help build a foundational framework that will guide operations across the entire business.
Role Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will:
* Collaborate with topic leads to define and document processes, standards, and governance frameworks.
* Analyse existing practices, identify gaps, and recommend practical improvements.
* Support the development of a structured, consistent playbook for programmes across the organisation.
* Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and manage input from multiple stakeholders.
* Translate technical or data‑related material into clear, useable standards.
* Contribute to the first draft of the organisation‑wide playbook, targeted for completion by the end of June.
Key Skills & Experience
We’re looking for BAs with the following strengths:
Process & Standards Documentation
Experience defining, mapping, and documenting business processes, governance structures, and standards.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Confidence working with diverse senior stakeholders, facilitating discussions, and building consensus across programmes or topic groups.
Analytical & Problem‑Solving Ability
Skilled in reviewing current approaches, identifying inconsistencies, and designing structured improvements.
Governance & Framework Development
Knowledge of developing or enhancing governance frameworks or enterprise‑level operational standards.
Understanding of Data & Modelling Environments
Comfort working with areas such as data management, economic modelling, or technical programme environments, with the ability to translate requirements into clear documentation.
