Title: Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer
Full-Time (37.5hrs per week)
Reports to: Head of Technology
Responsible for: N/A
Office location: Agilysis' Banbury office
Remote working and travel: The post is office focussed but suitable for hybrid working (a combination of working in the office and at home) subject to agreement. The post may require very occasional visits to client premises, conferences and events.

Job Purpose
Agilysis is looking for a Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer to join our expanding Technical Team.
As a data professional, you will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of data theory and data management combined with practical experience of industry standard database systems and tools. You will have experience of complex ETL processing involving programmatic manipulation of data, combining and joining data from disparate sources. You will be able to interrogate multiple, sometimes complex and nuanced sources to produce clear, robust datasets for further analysis.
The post holder will work closely with others in the Technical Team and with the Consultancy Team, playing a crucial role in the high-quality Consultancy projects for that Agilysis is renowned for. They will also have the opportunity to contribute to the award-winning products that Agilysis offers.
Key Requirements
All applicants must:
* Have a current right to work in the UK and must reside within or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance from Banbury.
* Possess a degree in a relevant field from a recognised international institution
* or -
* Be able to demonstrate at least 2 years' experience working in a similar role
* Be able to demonstrate significant experience or formal training with Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL RDBMS systems
* Be able to demonstrate significant experience or formal training with the Python programming language
