Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently or supervise others as needed. The ideal applicant will possess some technical knowledge and experience in electrical & mechanical services with a focus on delivering high-quality service to ensure the smooth operation of our premises.
Duties
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and infrastructure.
* Repair and replace a range of equipment within a busy office building.
* Assist with mechanical repairs such as small plumbing furniture moves lamp replacement & general building repairs etc
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal or external client requests promptly and professionally.
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements
* Proven experience in maintenance roles with some electrical and mechanical knowledge.
* Previous experience is essential.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues alike.
