How Will You Make an Impact? Working with the warehouse team you will ensure that products are received, put away, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently, following the Safety, Quality and Delivery model. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of warehouse activities with your focus on safely meeting our day-to-day goals and commitments to our customers. A Day in the Life: - Receive deliveries and returns from suppliers and customers at the loading bay. - Load and unload items such as boxes, packages, cages, and pallets using manual handling equipment. - Check the quantity and quality of inbound goods, book into warehouse management system, prepare for storage and put away in designated zones - Pick and assemble customer orders from various warehouse locations using radio data terminals and picking lists. - Prepare customer orders for delivery by packaging and labelling cartons and pallets/chemicals for safe and secure transportation. - Sort customer orders into designated outbound routes on the dispatch bay according to the assigned loading sequence. - Safely load vehicles, third-party carriers and own fleet, against the manifest loading sequence. Education: High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent. Experience: - Required: Minimum 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain or related field - Required: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers/forklifts) Training provided.
