NEXT is looking for a positive and helpful Studio Floor Assistant to join our dynamic Photography Studio team in Enderby. This Grade 4 role is based in Enderby with a starting salary of £24,655About the role:As a Studio Floor Assistant, you will be responsible for the seamless preparation and daily operation of our studio sets. Your day-to-day tasks involve picking and transporting products and props to various sets, as well as driving the company van to collect essential items for upcoming shoots. You will work closely with shoot teams to provide technical assistance, manage set changes, and assist with set building and painting.Beyond the physical setup, you will support the end-to-end production process, ranging from initial studio configurations to digital workflow. Maintaining a safe and professional environment is key; you will be responsible for general housekeeping to ensure all sets are clean, tidy, and hazard-free. You will also look after in-house kit and support visiting photographers while completing ad hoc duties as directed by Studio Managers.Given the nature of production, a flexible approach is required, as you may occasionally need to work outside of these standard hours or during weekends to meet project deadlines.About you:Capable of heavy lifting, specifically for moving studio walls and floors.Possess a genuine creative interest and have practical experience in painting, minor set building, or working within a studio environment.Experience with Profoto lighting and Canon equipment is desirable, alongside a working knowledge of Capture One or Adobe Photoshop.Have excellent interpersonal skills, a professional manner, and the ability to work effectively within a team under pressure.Demonstrate strong time management, punctuality, and a proactive, forward-thinking approach to all projects.Have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to interpret data effectively.A genuine interest in photography LI-MB1 LI-Onsite
