Job Responsibilities
* Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, grating, and assembling ingredients.
* Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes.
* Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen station, including equipment, utensils, and work area.
* Collaborate with senior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
* Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
* Learn and develop cooking techniques and skills under the guidance of experienced chefs.
* Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within the kitchen.
Critical Skills & Experience Requirements
* Prior experience as a kitchen assistant or similar role is preferred.
* Basic understanding of culinary techniques and food preparation.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
