Van Delivery Driver
IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE
Peterborough (PE7)
From £120 to £180 per day
Permanent self employed position
The role will be working for the biggest parcel delivery company, ensuring deliveries are always delivered on time and in an efficient manner. The Depot is located in Peterborough with deliveries local to Peterborough PE3 postcodes. Workers will need to be physically fit as the role requires manual handling. Working as part of a team of drivers and the depot team you will ensure all goods are loaded, secure and safe for transit then delivered to customers.
The work is available Monday to Sunday, hours will vary depending on work loads start time 0530am or 0730am (depending what wave you will be on) until all parcels delivered and returned to the depot for a debrief.
You will be required to work 5 days per week and 6 days per week in peak periods. Weekend work is a must so successful candidates must be flexible on working days.
Pay is based on successful deliveries, you will be paid £120 per day minimum with the chance to earn a bonus every 4 weeks. The bonus will be applied at the end of every 4 week pay period based on 100% attendance.
Full training and uniform will be provided. Van, fuel and insurances provided UK driving licence is a must as well as a basic disclosure DBS check.
You will need own transport to get to and from the depot.
Payment is every 4 weeks and payment days will be provided for the whole year. This is a self employed position holidays are not paid or days off.
