Description

Greenergy delivers safe, efficient and reliable fuel solutions to customers across road, aviation and marine sectors. As an international transportation fuel supplier, we combine traditional and renewable energy solutions to support our customers through the energy transition. Commitment to innovation and a drive to do things differently have seen Greenergy grow from a bedroom start-up to supply transport fuels in the UK, Ireland and Canada, as well as being a leading European manufacturer of waste-based renewables.

The Senior Communications Manager drives strategic communications across Greenergy’s UK and international operations. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering internal and external communications that support our corporate strategy, strengthen our reputation, and engage our people.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs and working closely with senior leaders and the wider Corporate Affairs team, this is a minimum 12-month fixed-term contract role in which you’ll develop communications that bring our business strategy, culture, and sustainability story to life — ensuring Greenergy is understood and trusted by employees, customers, partners, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will bring proven experience in a similar senior communications role within the energy, infrastructure, or related industrial sector, and will already be operating at this level. You will be highly self-sufficient, comfortable managing complex priorities, and confident working at pace in a fast-moving environment with demanding deadlines. A collaborative team player with a pragmatic, can-do attitude, you will combine strong professional judgement with the humility and flexibility needed to work effectively within a close-knit Corporate Affairs team.

* Support the development of content for internal channels (intranet, newsletters, leadership messages) that reinforces company culture
* Coordinate key moments in the internal communications calendar, including leadership updates and employee campaigns.
* Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on communications opportunities and risks
* Mentor junior colleagues and work closely with external public relations, web and design agencies as needed
* Support change and transformation programmes with effective communication planning
* Ensure all communications uphold Greenergy’s brand, values, and tone of voice.
