The Role of Area Sales Manager
* This is an entry level field sales / Area Sales Manager position that will be suitable for a candidate looking for their first or second field sales position.
* Working for a leading construction manufacturer, the Area Sales Manager will call on existing accounts that include national and independent builders merchants such as Jewsons, MKM and Travis Perkins as well as Civils Merchants such as Burdens, Keyline etc.
* You will build long lasting relationships at Branch Managers, understanding their business and supporting their growth by providing them with high quality construction products with excellent service.
* As Area Sales Manager, you will liaise with other parts of the business (the specification and contractor sales teams) and collaborate to ensure that the customer is getting the best level of service possible.
* You will be championing industry leading products with a brilliant reputation and will be tasked with growing the territory in Scotland.

The Candidate
* This is an entry level position - Our client are looking to hire a branch based sales person or a trade counter sales person within the construction industry looking for their first field sales position.
* Our client will also consider a junior field sales professional that perhaps wants to move from a smaller company to a market leading blue-chip.
* Whilst construction experience is preferable, our client will consider other entry level sales people that have a genuine interest in the construction industry.
The Package on offer for the Area Sales Manager
* Up to £35,000 basic
* 20% OTE
* Wide choice of company car incl hybrid / electric including Teslas & high spec vehicles
