I’m recruiting on behalf of a top-tier international law firm with a market-leading Real Estate Finance practice. This is a rare opportunity to join a team that combines deep expertise across real estate finance, advising on a broad spectrum of asset classes and deal types.

The team is consistently ranked Band 1 by Chambers and Legal 500 and is known for its pan-European and cross-border capabilities. It provides clients with a fully integrated service across finance, real estate, tax, corporate, capital markets, and restructuring. The firm’s European network enables seamless execution of multi-jurisdictional deals, setting it apart from competitors.
The Role:
You will:
* Advise on a wide range of real estate finance transactions including investment and development finance, senior/mezzanine structures, CMBS, CRE CLOs, and loan portfolio sales
* Work closely with sponsors, investment banks, credit funds, asset managers, and arrangers
* Lead transaction management, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across jurisdictions
* Draft and negotiate core legal documentation with precision and commercial insight
* Deliver tailored, market-informed advice to clients
* Supervise junior lawyers and trainees, delegating effectively
* Support client relationship development, fee management, and business development initiatives
* Leverage legal tech, project management tools, and best delivery practices to drive efficiency
About You:
* Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 5+ years’ PQE in real estate finance, ideally from a leading practice
* Strong technical skills and a proven ability to manage complex transactions
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities
* Commercially astute with a client-focused approach
* Collaborative and resilient, with experience working in fast-paced environments
* Motivated to contribute to business development and deepen client relationships
