The Role
As a Project Manager, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of electricity connections up to 33kV and EV charging infrastructure projects. From initial design to final installation, you'll ensure every project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You'll work closely with our Design, Tendering, and Business Development teams—turning client requirements into real-world, high-performing energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of ICP works and EV infrastructure projects
Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring expectations are met
Plan, schedule, and coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors
Maintain control over project finances, procurement, and delivery timelines
Ensure full compliance with DNO/IDNO standards, NRSWA, and HAUC regulations
Carry out site audits, resolve non-conformances, and uphold quality assurance
Document site progress through photos and reports for internal use and marketing
Champion a strong culture of health & safety across all project activity
Continuously improve processes and promote operational efficiency
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a Project Manager role within a DNO or ICP environment
Hands-on understanding of HV/LV electricity connections (up to 33kV)
Certificate of Competency as an Electrician or Electrical Fitter
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively
Full UK Driving Licence – site travel is essential
Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
Desirable Qualifications (Training Provided Where Needed)
SSSTS or SMSTS certification
CSCS card
Project Management Certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM)
Emergency First Aid at Work
