HGV Class 1 - ADR Driver - Stoke-on-Trent- - 1 Year Experience Required This is a permeant role working for a trusted company delivering full waste management solutions, with specialist expertise in handling hazardous waste. OTE up to £45,000 PA Your Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 06:00 to 17:00 Overtime available Your Pay; £34,840 salary based on 40 hours a week Overtime is available which could bring your salary up to £45,000 Main Responsibilities: Collecting and delivering packaged hazardous and non hazardous waste to and from customer and supplier locations across the UK Completing all documentation accurately, including waste transfer notes, to maintain full traceability Working closely with the wider transport and site teams to organise routes, delivery times and vehicle usage Bringing incoming waste to inspection bays for review by the Process Chemist, which may also include weighing loads Assisting the Process Chemist by preparing waste batches and moving materials from storage areas into batching zones Supporting with loading, unloading, strapping and securing loads safely and correctly Using and maintaining relevant equipment such as pumps, hoses and spill response kits when required Following all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of vehicles, equipment and PPE Carrying out daily vehicle checks and immediately reporting any issues or defects Communicating with customers and site staff to ensure smooth handovers and resolve any delivery or access challenges ADR experience is preferred, but full training can be provided for applicants who already hold an ADR licence. What we need from you: HGV Class HGV1 Licence ADR Licence In Date CPC & Digi Good understanding of Health and Safety, COSHH, Moving and Handling Regulations. Experience of working in the waste sector (preferred but not compulsory) No more than 6 points, no IN, DD or DR penalty codes.
