Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Science Teacher looking for a new role this September? Tradewind Recruitment is currently supporting a high-achieving secondary school in South London, and we're seeking a dedicated teacher of Science to join their team full-time from September 2025.

The Role
As a Science Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging, practical-based lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with possible Key Stage 5 if experienced)
* Inspiring curiosity and scientific thinking in students of all abilities
* Using a range of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs
* Preparing students for assessments and examinations
* Contributing to departmental planning, resource development, and extracurricular activities
Person Specification / Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
* Have experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting
* Be confident in your science specialism, with the ability to teach across the science curriculum at KS3 and KS4
* Possess an Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
* Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history (where applicable)
