Proofpoint is seeking a HR Shared Services Specialist to join our growing team in Reading, UK on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This role is a great opportunity to have direct impact on employee lifecycle and experience through supporting with onboarding, offboarding, partnering with key HR Stakeholders and enhancing the employee experience.
The role:
The HR Shared Services Specialist will be the main point of contact for all HR inquiries from initial requests through fulfilment and will partner with our local and regional people and culture teams to identify solutions and resolve employee issues in a timely fashion.
You will be expected to be independent and proactive, with a customer service mindset and great stakeholder management skills. This role will support the areas of South Europe primarily but will also support with APJ, Americas and the Global processes.
Your day-to-day:
* Triaging cases via our service management system and shared inboxes and providing resolution in a timely manner and meeting the SLAs, to our employees and various internal and external stakeholders Ensure the accuracy of employee data through the management of employee systems and processes Support with onboarding, offboarding and employee life cycle processes and queries
* Partner with the Benefits, Payroll, HRBPs, Immigration and compliance team in delivering the best customer service but also partner in various projects Provide testing support for Workday updated releases, integration changes and new functionality rollouts
* Actively participate in implementation of new policies and processes Help create, author and manager the HR Shared services knowledgebase
* Process a variety of HR transaction, ensuring compliance and integrity throughout the system Be able to provide reports and data analysis on request Maintain discretion in matters of confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
* 1+ year experience in a HR Shared Services hub, ideally tech company but not a must
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint and other tools that help eliminate manual steps from HR processes by automating and integrating to ensure greater operational efficiency
* Team player but also able to work individually
* Exceptional problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Keen to learn and expand the knowledge and skills
