Role: Production Operative

Pay: £12.21 to £13.00, depending on experience
Location: Newcastle-Under-Lyme, ST5
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-12:30pm
Our client is a leader in delivering high performance cable assemblies into some of the most challenging environments. Brand new vacancies available for this client for hardworking, driven individuals. All of the cable assemblies are built to meet or exceed the acceptance criteria of this standard, including Class 3 High Performance Electronic Products for critical systems often required in Military, Aerospace and Medical applications.
Job description
* Cutting & stripping of wires
* Crimp & solder terminations
* Handling and application of electronic components
* Handling and application of heat shrink products and associated adhesives
Candidate must hold a valid UK driving license.
Required Experience: The ideal candidate will have understanding of production drawings and documentation of wire harness/ electromechanical products. The ability to read and follow documented build procedures. Experience in manufacture of military / defence & other rugged / harsh environment cable harness & electro mechanical products.
Ideally trained to IPC620 Class 3 application, however, training will be arranged for employees initially if required. Follow up training provided annually.
This role is due to start immediately for the successful candidate.
