Responsibilities
* Providing a variety of barbering services including haircuts, trims, shaves, and grooming treatments tailored to individual client needs
* Ensuring all tools and workstations are kept clean, sterilised, and well-maintained in accordance with health and safety regulations
* Offering professional advice on hairstyles, grooming products, and aftercare to clients
* Managing appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client flow
* Building rapport with clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business
* Maintaining a professional appearance that reflects the standards of the salon or barbershop
* Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a barber or hair stylist with a strong portfolio of work
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
* Strong hair styling skills across various styles and techniques
* Good communication skills to understand client preferences and provide professional advice
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Organised with attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation
* Valid barbering qualification recognised within the UK or equivalent certification
