Warehouse Operative
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Chester on a temporary contract. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a pivotal role in the day‑to‑day warehouse operations, supporting our Service Engineers, managing stock, and ensuring the overall efficiency and cleanliness of the warehouse. Base Pay Range
Salary £25,500 per annum. 3‑Month Fixed Term Contract. Monday to Friday – no weekends. 25 days holiday pro‑rata, plus Bank Holidays. 5% Contributory Pension scheme. Job Responsibilities
* Supporting Service Engineers in filling and tipping of drums.
* Unloading & loading of stock including cages, drums, and machines – both clean and spent items.
* Stock management of all branch stock.
* Item arrival and goods receipt processing, ensuring stock is recorded correctly and returned to the Distribution Centre.
* Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of all areas.
* Servicing and repairing of machines (full training given), occasionally on customer sites.
Competencies Required
* Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
* Forklift / Counterbalance Licence is required.
* A great communicator who values teamwork.
* A good self‑starter who works independently as required.
Please note that this role requires heavy lifting/maneuvering of drums.
