Overview
Key Stage 2 Teacher - Malton & Surrounding Villages
We are proud to be supporting a cluster of small, community-focused schools near Malton who are on the lookout for a new Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team. These are rural schools, set in welcoming communities, where children enjoy coming to school and behaviour is generally positive.
The right person will bring both high expectations and a nurturing approach, able to balance firm boundaries with warmth and encouragement. This role will see you working across two schools in the cluster, so having your own transport is a must as they can't be reached by public transport.
The variety of working across different settings is a real plus for teachers who enjoy fresh challenges and new faces.
Responsibilities
* Deliver Key Stage 2 lessons across two schools within the cluster.
* Maintain high expectations for pupil progress while providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
* Establish and uphold clear boundaries and positive behaviour management.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the two school sites to plan, assess, and review pupil progress.
Qualifications and Experience
* Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs); track record of supporting new teachers in similar settings.
* Willingness to work across more than one school; own transport is essential.
* Flexibility to consider Key Stage 1, EYFS, or part-time positions if KS2 is not an exact fit.
