Company Summary
We're supporting a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturer in South Wales who is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team on a 12-month contract.
This role is critical in maintaining production continuity by delivering both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of equipment. If you’re hands-on, electrically biased, and thrive in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment — this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities;
* Perform maintenance on process equipment, HVAC systems, boilers, compressors, and more
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair
* Support integration of new machinery and continuous improvement projects
* Maintain GMP and safety standards during interventions
* Use CMMS tools (e.g., Maximo) to log activities and drive efficiency
Required Experience
* HNC/ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Completed engineering apprenticeship in a regulated industry
* Experience with cleanroom controls, HVAC, SCADA systems, and electrical systems (18th Edition knowledge preferred)
* Familiarity with CMMS platforms and safety protocols
* Able to work in varied environments (plant rooms, cleanrooms, shop floor, etc.)
