The Role
As a Technical Paraplanner, youll work closely with Chartered Financial Planners, supporting them through high-level research, analysis and report writing. You will play a central role in shaping bespoke financial plans across complex areas including investments, pensions, tax planning, estate planning and IHT mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce detailed, compliant suitability reports for high-net-worth clients
2. Conduct comprehensive technical research across pensions, investments and tax planning
3. Build and maintain accurate cashflow models
4. Prepare meeting packs and technical briefing notes for advisers
5. Liaise with product providers and maintain up-to-date client records
6. Support advisers in developing and implementing financial strategies
7. Contribute to process improvements within the technical team
About You
8. Experienced paraplanner with strong technical knowledge
9. Ideally working towards, or already holding, Level 4 Diploma (Chartered status desirable)
10. Confident analysing complex cases and producing tailored recommendations
11. High attention to detail and a passion for accuracy
12. Able to communicate technical detail clearly and professionally
13. Enjoy working collaboratively within a high-performing team
