Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a part time, 0.6 FTE, fixed term Supported Internship Job Coach. The Job Coach is required to provide individualised, fading support to help supported interns with additional needs or autism, and to develop skills, confidence and independence for paid employment.
Due to student numbers, we have 2 x 22.2 hour posts available, on a fixed term contract until July 2026.
Most of our students will be on placement in the Warrington area, but a few students will be on placement in the Winsford area, therefore one of the job coaches will be required to cover both geographical areas.

Suitable candidates should have GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade 4 or above, or equivalent, and a relevant Level 3 qualification. Candidates should have experience of working with people with learning disabilities, risk assessments, job coaching, and working and successfully dealing with employers. In addition, candidates should have the ability to communicate effectively, to show empathy and understanding, and to promote and work towards independence amongst the user group.
