£45,000 £50,000 DOE + Overtime

The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Installation Engineer to join a well-established and growing business within the air conditioning and refrigeration sector.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident in managing installations from survey through to completion, while leading and supporting junior engineers on-site.

Key Responsibilities
* Install and commission air conditioning systems across domestic and commercial sites
* Conduct site surveys and liaise directly with clients when needed
* Plan and manage installations from start to finish
* Order materials and manage project requirements
* Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently if required
* Lead, mentor, and support junior engineers
* Ensure all work is completed to high health & safety standards
* Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams
* Work on refrigeration systems (desirable but not essential)
Requirements
* Experience within air conditioning / refrigeration (8 years not essential)
* F-Gas certified & City & Guilds 2079 qualified
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong installation, fault-finding, and diagnostic experience
* Experience leading or supervising engineers on-site
* Confident in site surveys and project planning
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and customer-facing skills
* Ability to work independently xsngvjr and as part of a team
Desirable:
* IPAF / PASMA
* Refrigeration experience
