We are seeking a proactive individual to join our Supply Chain Team as a Supply Chain Co-ordinator working with the schedulers.
Previous experience in the supply chain function is not essential; however, a good knowledge of computers, systems, and mathematics is required.
The Candidate
Ideally, candidates will be self-starting, motivated individuals with excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. Problem-solving skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities, both internally with colleagues and externally with customers, are critical. While working within a team, each individual will have separate responsibilities, customers, and production lines. Therefore, you need to be proactive and hands-on, driven by a desire to ensure all key tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled and that the best possible results are achieved for both customers and internal stakeholders. Bradbury's is a fast-paced environment, so the ability to respond quickly, confidently, and clearly is essential.
The Role
Duties will include:
1. Managing varied tasks and activities within the supply chain function with a multi-tasking approach.
2. Playing a key role in the planning, control, and delivery of products in full and on time to your allocated accounts.
3. Creating relationships with key staff across the site and engaging in thorough communication.
4. Building relationships with your customers' key contacts and liaising with them regularly.
5. Managing, reviewing, and amending data and systems such as Syspro (inventory management), MRP (material requirements planning), and Orchard (warehouse management).
Other Responsibilities
* Conducting yourself in a safe and diligent manner and complying with health and safety policies and procedures.
* Upholding and promoting company policies and procedures, including those related to Equality and Diversity.
* Participating in activities and developments relevant to the post.
* Maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion at all times.
* Representing Bradbury's professionally and promoting an appropriate public image.
* Undertaking any other duties reasonably required for the post.
The role will include full training and support, and applications are welcomed from anyone interested, regardless of current position or previous experience.
One opening is for a junior-level candidate who will be supported by the Supply Chain Manager to develop and take on more responsibilities as they progress in their career.
