Registered Manager Childrens Residential Home (EBD) Location: Nottingham (NG8) Salary: £55,000 per annum Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent We are proud to be working on behalf of a dedicated childrens care provider to recruit an experienced and passionate Registered Manager for a brand-new 3-bedded Childrens Residential Home specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), located in the NG8 area of Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a new service, shaping the culture, staff team, and care standards from the outset. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in registering and launching the home, while ensuring the highest levels of care and compliance are achieved. Key Responsibilities: Lead on the registration process and establish the home in line with Ofsted regulations Manage the daily operations of the home and provide strong, consistent leadership to the team Promote a safe, nurturing environment that supports children with EBD to thrive Ensure full compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and safeguarding requirements Oversee care planning, staff development, and quality assurance processes Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, external agencies, and families Essential Criteria: Minimum of 2 years experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a childrens residential setting Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children & Young Peoples Services (or equivalent) Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and childrens residential care standards Ability to lead, inspire and develop a new team Excellent organisational and communication skills Desirable: Previous experience setting up a new childrens home This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced manager looking to take on a fresh challenge and make a lasting impact from the ground up.
