Duties
* Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently, reporting findings to the Garage Manager
* Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles
* Conduct comprehensive inspections to assess vehicle safety, reliability, and performance
* Adhere strictly to Health & Safety protocols and quality standards during all work activities
* Keep detailed records of work performed and communicate effectively with team members and customers when necessary
* Support the continuous improvement of workshop processes and service standards
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications such as IMI/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be advantageous but are not essential; strong "time served" experience on a variety of repairs, including clutches and cambelts, is highly valued
* Valid UK driving license with minimal points
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality vehicle repairs in a busy workshop environment
* Strong team player with excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude
* Motivated to meet targets and contribute to the overall success of the workshop
* Candidates with a Class 4 MOT licence or willing to undergo training in this area will be considered favorably
