Business Development Manager (MSP)
Manchester (Hybrid 2 Days Onsite)
£40,000 - £50,000 Basic + uncapped commission
Oscar Sales have partnered with a well established Manchester based MSP with over 25 years' experience delivering Infrastructure, Cloud, Hosting, Support and Professional Services. The business is in a strong growth phase heading into 2026 and is now looking to appoint a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate new logo acquisition while expanding revenue within existing accounts.
This role can be weighted towards Managed Services or Digital Transformation depending on your background. You will be given autonomy to shape deals, influence go to market strategy, and directly impact growth within a business that combines the scale of a larger provider with the agility of a mid-sized organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new logo acquisition across Managed Services, Professional Services and CSP
Identify service opportunities through vendor and hardware software partner relationships
Own the full sales cycle from qualification through to close
Lead presales engagement alongside internal technical teams to scope and build solutions
Sell Microsoft, VMware, Veeam and SentinelOne licensing with a strong focus on Microsoft
Develop and execute outbound activity across email, LinkedIn and campaigns to build pipeline
Take ownership of demand generation with marketing investment provided where required
Requirements
Proven experience selling within an MSP environment
Track record of winning net new business and expanding existing accounts
Strong understanding of Managed Services and Professional Services sales
Commercially proactive, personable and detail focused
Relevant technical or presales aligned certifications are desirable

Package and Benefits
Base salary up to £50,000 with uncapped commission
