Step Forward Support is an established, nationwide supported living provider creating bespoke packages for people with complex needs. We are building a new small team to support a vibrant woman with a brain injury to live in her own home in the Halesowen area.
About the role
You will be part of a small, carefully selected team providing one-to-one support in a modern home environment. It's about working alongside the person to build confidence, promote independence and make daily life enjoyable.
What you'll be doing
* Planning and taking part in community activities such as swimming, the gym, shopping trips, walks and local events.
* Encouraging and motivating on days when confidence dips, while respecting personal space.
* Supporting with day-to-day routines (meal planning, household tasks, appointments) without taking over.
* Helping to plan and organise fun, meaningful time with family and friends.
* Keeping accurate records and working closely with the wider support team to achieve agreed outcomes.
What we're looking for
* Active, outgoing people who enjoy being on the go and bringing positive energy.
* Bubbly, positive, chatty and motivational people who are fun to be around.
* Support workers who are attentive, approachable and present – not "phone scrollers".
* Confidence to encourage and motivate, balanced with patience and respect.
* Driving license is essential enable community access.
* Experience of brain injury, complex needs or rehabilitation is helpful but not essential – full training provided.
