Job Description: The role of Paralegal is responsible for managing company secretarial duties for our residential management company (RMC) clients, supporting statutory compliance, and assisting with administrative functions across the legal department. Key responsibilities and tasks include: Managing company secretarial functions for our residential management company(RMC) clients, including filing statutory accounts, annual returns, and maintaining statutory registers. Administering director appointments, resignations, and changes to company details with Companies House. Acting as a liaison between the legal team, clients, and other departments, ensuring effective communication and delivery of services. Handling all correspondence related to the RMC use of our offices as registered offices. Maintaining accurate records of all company secretarial activities and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely completion of all statutory filings and compliance requirements. Supporting the legal team with research and preparation of documentation as needed. Qualifications and Skills: Candidates for this position should have the following skills and qualifications: Legal or company secretarial qualification preferred (or equivalent relevant experience). Experience in company secretarial work, preferably in a property management or legal environment. Knowledge of UK company law and corporate governance practices. Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proactive approach to problem solving with ability to work independently. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
