I am on the hunt for an enthusiastic and talented Pattern Designer to join a dynamic team for a 10-week FTC or freelance assignment. This is your chance to make an impact and showcase your skills in a vibrant and innovative design studio!
What You'll Do: 🎨
* Create original and striking patterns for a wide array of products, from prints and wallpapers to carpets that inspire and captivate.
* Use both traditional and cutting-edge digital design techniques to produce high-quality patterns meeting industry standards.
* Collaborate closely with clients and their talented internal teams to transform their visions into compelling design concepts.
* Manage multiple exciting projects and meet deadlines, all while keeping an organized approach and adhering to timelines.
* Dive into research to spark inspiration and develop unique design concepts that align with client objectives.
* Present your innovative designs to stakeholders and clients, gathering valuable feedback that will help enhance and refine your work.
What They're Looking For:
* A Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Pattern Designer, with a portfolio that highlights your expertise in creating stunning prints, wallpapers, and carpet designs.
* Background in hospitality, restaurants, prop design, film, or fashion industries is a plus!
* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop,
* A strong grasp of colour theory, composition, and visual aesthetics.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
* Experience in textile design is preferred, but not required.
Salary-wise they're looking around fixed term we would base the salary on £45k p.a (on a FTC) or around £250 a day for freelancers. They have a London based office and would love for people happy to be office based, but there is the flex to work from home when needed.
