We are seeking dynamic individuals to take on the role of an Unqualified Teacher (KSE) who will play a pivotal part in supporting the teaching and learning processes whilst also taking a lead role in planning, preparation and assessment, and guiding a team to ensure the overall progress of pupils across all key stages.
You will be working term time only as an Unqualified Teacher (KSE), 37 hours per week.
The postholder is required to work for 39 weeks per year. In addition, the postholder will receive a payment in respect of their pro rata entitlement to Annual Leave appropriate to their grade, Bank Holidays and the KCC concessionary day.
Key Responsibilities/Duties may include:
1. Lead the teaching and learning process under the direction and guidance of a mentor, ensuring pupils make substantial progress.
2. Provide guidance and support to colleagues in selecting effective teaching and learning methods, whilst fostering a collaborative and innovative teaching environment.
3. Ensure the delivery of a high-quality curriculum characterised by engaging learning experiences and purposeful enjoyment.
4. Evidence of an effective sequence of learning in line with key stage and pathway colleagues.
5. Adhere to and contribute towards the School Plan Priorities for the academic year.
6. Upload photos and videos to monitor pupils' progress using Evidence for Learning, as well as assessing pupil progress using BSquared and using this data to inform planning.
7. Share photos and videos every week with parents/carers using Evidence for Learning.
8. Engage in weekly Professional Development opportunities such as Teacher meetings, Bitesize training and Teacher briefings.
9. Lead the weekly class team briefings so that all staff in the team are clear on the learning sequence, their role in supporting teaching and any key information pertinent to the class.
10. Provide quality information and support to parents/carers to enhance inclusive learning for all pupils. This includes both parents evening, report writing and Annual Review meetings.
11. Foster a positive and inclusive climate for learning.
12. Serve as an outstanding personal and professional role model.
