Here at the Mick George Group, we are looking for a Car/Van Mechanic.
Responsibilities
* To carry out service, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
* MOT Preparation.
* Take responsibility for allocated jobs while liaising with the small vehicle manager to ensure parts are ordered and delivered in a timely manner.
* Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
* Minimise operational downtime.
* To ensure Company and legislative H&S procedures are followed at all times.
Skills & Competencies Required
* Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on a varied fleet of Cars and Vans.
* Ability to diagnose problems effectively and carry out necessary repairs.
* To service vehicles in line with manufacturers' recommendations to main dealer standard.
* Fault finding using electrical diagnostic equipment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
