Job Description
As a Financial Mis-selling Paralegal your duties will include:
3. Manage a caseload of financial mis-selling claims from initial instruction to resolution.
4. Draft correspondence, witness statements, letters of claim, and court documents.
5. Liaise with clients, financial institutions, experts, and counsel.
6. Conduct due diligence, document reviews, and factual investigations.
7. Undertake legal research to support ongoing and potential claims.
8. Prepare court bundles and assist in pre-litigation and litigation stages.
9. Maintain accurate records and update the case management system.
10. Ensure compliance with internal policies, SRA regulations, and FCA-related standards where applicable.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Mis-selling Paralegal:
11. A degree in law or equivalent qualification.
12. Ideally experience working either in FMS work or litigation with transferable skills. However our client is open to candidates who have recently graduated from law school.
13. Experience or interest in financial mis-selling cases.
14. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
15. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines efficiently.
16. Familiarity with research tools and case management software.
