Registered Manager – Residential Care Home Rochdale
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead a small, well-rated residential home for older adults in the North Greater Manchester area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to manage their first home or for an experienced Manager interested in a smaller, supportive environment.
About the Role:
Previous experience in elderly care settings is essential.
We welcome applications from current or former CQC Registered Managers, as well as Deputy Managers or Unit Managers with relevant experience.
You will be responsible for leading a small team, ensuring high-quality care, and fostering a positive environment for residents.
Strong leadership, HR skills, and a genuine passion for elderly care are key.
This is not an office-based role – you’ll be hands-on with both residents and staff.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm
Weekends off (usual on-call duties apply)
Weekly hours capped at 40, with additional hours recoverable as compensatory rest
Support & Systems:
Guidance available from regional management and a nearby home manager
Fully implemented electronic care planning system
Online training with automated tracking
Electronic rota system for staff management, payroll, and communications
Laptop provided; flexible working arrangements available after 2 years
Salary & Benefits:
£32,500 – £40,000 per year
Full-time, permanent role

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in elderly care
At least 1 year in care home management
DBS certification
