An opportunity has arisen to work as Head of Supply Chain for an exciting company who develop technology for the Aerospace, Defence, Industrial, Medical and Scientific industries. Duties:
* Accountability for the global demand, supply planning and forecasting processes.
* Support growth plans and improve performance.
* Ensure that business planning and forecasting data is supplied for efficient planning and utilisation.
* Lead and develop the Supply Chain Planning, warehouse and Logistics teams for the division.
* Integrated business planning across division, ensuring commonality of plans, messaging and information flows.
* Optimisation across end-to-end supply chain to maximise performance in inventory management, lead time and OTD.
* Capacity planning activities across the business in close collaboration with business streams and functions.
* Provision of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and business analysis.
* Implementation lead of all key Supply Chain infrastructure projects.
* Optimization of inbound material scheduling to ensure it is in line with business requirements and inventory targets.
Experience:
* Demonstrable experience with cutting edge S&OP methods and ideas.
* Previous experience in S&OP planning and process improvement.
* Manufacturing experience is desirable.
* Degree or equivalent experience in relevant Operations, Engineering or Business Administration field.
* Demonstrable experience of driving efficiencies and improvement throughout a business.
* A commercial and customer facing focus is essential.
* Show a collaborative and inclusive team-based way of working.
* Be capable of introducing new ways of working and driving innovation through the business at speed.
* Able to work at pace under pressure.
* ERP experience ideally SAP S4 Hana.
