Pertemps Technical are recruiting for a Systems Test Engineer for one of our Clients based in Clevedon, BS21. As a Systems Test Engineer you will report to the Test Supervisor and will have relationships with all other departments.
Overview:
1. Monday to Friday, 38.5 hours per week
2. Experience in a similar role is necessary
3. Salary between £33,000-£35,761 based on experience

Responsibilities and Duties within the role:
5. Working closely with all departments and managers to support the delivery of business success.

9. Testing and inspecting Battery Tripping Units, Inverters and U.P.S. Systems
10. To test manufactured equipment to agreed standards
11. To test bought-in equipment to agreed standards
12. To complete factory acceptance tests (FAT’s) to customer specifications
13. To capacity test batteries.
14. To evaluate testing of both new & existing equipment and ensure that agreed standards are achieved
15. To maintain test equipment to required standards
16. To provide fault finding down to component level on both through hole and surface mount PCBs
17. To assist in the development and writing of agreed standards
18. Participate in troubleshooting and reporting of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
19. To ensure quality standards and records are maintained
20. To provide feedback to Design and Engineering and to participate in design review meetings
Qualifications / Knowledge:
21. Knowledge of QAM (sections 1-3) QAP2.7, 3.3, 4.1, 4.2
22. MS Office
23. MRP
24. Understanding of high frequency power supply technology
25. LabView
