About the Service You'll be working in a structured and supportive environment that uses Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles to help individuals achieve positive outcomes and enhance their quality of life. Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centred support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities, ensuring dignity, respect, and choice at all times. Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household responsibilities. Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities, social events, and educational or vocational opportunities. Follow and contribute to individual care plans and PBS plans, ensuring consistent and effective support. Requirements Essential: Previous experience supporting people with autism and/or learning disabilities. A person-centred and empathetic approach to care. Strong communication and teamwork skills Desirable: NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Training in Autism Awareness, Positive Behaviour Support, or Makaton. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (advantageous but not essential).
