Engineering Supervisor – Stevenage – £55,000
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £55,000 + Plenty of Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday Days 8AM – 5PM
One of the well-known companies in the FM and Maintenance industry is currently looking to recruit a key member of staff to add to a commercial contract in Stevenage. They provide specialist support in the operation, maintenance, and repair of building services, excelling in maintaining technically demanding blue-chip and critical sites within Hertfordshire, Stevenage, and London.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Pharmaceutical Environment. Candidates must have a strong technical understanding and a proven track record in the commercial building services environment. The role involves supervising the effective and efficient running of the onsite hard services, including Electrical, Mechanical, and Building Fabric disciplines, managing staff with their daily PPM schedules and reactive tasks.

Duties will include:
* Liaising with the client on production shutdowns.
* Ordering materials and supplies required for site maintenance, ensuring timely delivery.
* Supporting the Hard Services Manager in preparing and controlling budgets and lifecycle information for annual budgets and forecasts.
* Assisting in preparing business cases for future capital expenditure projects.
* Reviewing asset registers and maintenance records to determine equipment lifecycle.
* Managing the team against SLA’s and KPI’s as per the client contract.
* Liaising with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure safety procedures are followed.
* Managing Toolbox talks.
* Driving continuous improvement through best practices and innovative solutions.
* Ensuring specialist equipment is maintained and calibrated.
* Coordinating with the contract team on PPM schedules and updating Maximo system records.
* Updating Agility Work Orders for real-time MI accuracy.
* Ensuring sub-contractors work under proper permits and conducting permit checks.
* Attending client/supplier meetings as needed.
* Coordinating with site production managers for task scheduling.
* Supporting project teams as required.
Requirements:
* City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 Electrical installation or recognized equivalent.
* 17th or 18th Edition IEE Registration or recognized equivalent.
* Approved apprenticeship or relevant experience within Building Services.
* Previous Critical Environment experience.
* Health & Safety Training.
* Previous Supervisory/Management experience.
