Responsibilities
* Support with designing menus to ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish for all dishes.
* Ensure associates serve food in proper portions onto dishes, plates, mugs, and bowls, ensuring proper plate appearance and minimizing wastage.
* Maintain fluid communication with F&B Front of House managers, supervisors, and associates.
* Ensure the quality of the food items and notify suppliers if a product does not meet specifications.
* Ensure food, chemical, and controllables ordering is in line with forecasted business levels and adjust as necessary.
* Communicate assistance needed during busy periods to the Meetings & Events/Food & Beverage Manager to agree staffing levels and provide optimum service to guests.
* Ensure that all dishes on every menu have a food spec, including photo and allergy information, and that each culinary associate signs off their training on each item before menus go live.
* Monitor the status of all kitchen and back‑of‑house equipment to ensure they are in correct working order, ensuring efficient food production and compliance with food hygiene, health and safety guidelines.
* Report maintenance issues immediately to the Director of Food & Beverage and the Director of Engineering.
* Work proactively with the F&B Front of House team, assisting them where required to ensure guest service and enrich their menu knowledge through daily taste panels.
* Daily monitoring of all kitchen and back‑of‑house operations to ensure excellence in food production, service and cleaning.

* Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
* Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
* Complete safety training and certifications.
* Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
* Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
* Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
* Support the team to reach common goals.
* Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
* Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Preferred Qualifications
* At least 2 years of related work experience as a Sous Chef.
