This temporary post is ahead of a planned transfer of Mental Health Social Workers to Manchester City Council as part of an ambitious Transformation Programme. Designed as a 'test of change', this role will support improvements in outcomes for people receiving commissioned care - particularly individuals in supported living and those eligible for support under Section 117 of the Mental Health Act. You will work closely with the Performance and Governance Manager to provide quality assurance for commissioned care decisions, reduce delays, improve efficiencies in access to care and support, and explore innovative approaches to strengthen recovery journeys.
