Family Support Worker – Duty & Assessment (Solihull) Pertemps is recruiting an experienced Family Support Worker to join Solihull’s Duty and Assessment Service. This is a fast‑paced frontline role supporting children and families at the point of referral, helping ensure they receive timely, effective and proportionate support. You will: Support Social Workers with assessments, visits and direct work with children and families Gather information, complete observations and contribute to assessments and safety planning Build positive, trusting relationships to help families engage with support Work closely with schools, health partners and other agencies to coordinate interventions Promote safety, stability and improved outcomes for children You need: Experience working with children and families in a safeguarding or early help setting Strong communication, engagement and organisational skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced duty environment Eligibility to work in the UK To apply, contact Dan Wimbush on 07860 876 197 or send your CV to daniel.wimbush@pprsocialcare.co.uk.
