This Graduate Behaviour Mentor role offers valuable experience working with students aged 4-19, aiming to increase their engagement, attainment, and life chances.
About the Role
A well-respected specialist school near Woking is looking for a Graduate Behaviour Mentor to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioral challenges. Some students may have experienced adverse childhood experiences, requiring you to identify risks and escalate concerns as necessary. The ideal candidate will be a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and ready for a challenge.
Background
Many children with special educational needs face marginalisation, trauma, dysfunctional family relationships, low educational attainment, and stigmatisation. These barriers put them at higher risk of negative outcomes. You will play a key role in providing consistency and equipping them with tools to feel safe, secure, empowered, and confident in their potential.

Additional Details
* Start date: ASAP
* Pay: £85-£105 per day, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4pm, term time only
* Training and support provided, including CPD and safeguarding
* Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)
* Must be able to travel to Woking
