The project!

As an Office Handyman, your role will be to assist the People Services Team in ensuring the smooth running of the two corporate offices and showrooms with a special focus on maintenance.

What will the role entail?

* Take care of the delivery area in our main building (this involves moving boxes daily).
* Act as an errand runner between the two sites.
* Complete routine checks and undertake small repairs when needed in both corporate sites (changing light bulbs, etc.).
* Maintain the UK repairs log for the establishment department.
* Be the point of contact for Hackett visitors.
* Order materials for repairs, office stationery, and basic canteen supplies.
* Work closely with our 3rd-party warehouse team to coordinate item movements between them and the Stores/Offices.
* Provide administrative support to the UK People Services Team.

Requirements

Requirements:

* Entry-level, but experience in facilities-related fields is nice to have.
* Interpersonal skills and a good attitude (high people interaction).
* Reliable and punctual.
* Knowledge of basic repairs and experience using basic tools such as a screwdriver, small hammer, and Allen key is nice to have.
* Fluency in English is essential.
* IT: Microsoft Office, Google Suite.
* Ability to work in a busy environment and good administration skills.
* Be able to lift weights up to 10kg.

Job Competences:

* Team player with a “can-do” and flexible attitude.
* Proactivity.

Excellent time management and prioritization skills are required.
