About the role
A fantastic new position has become available for an experienced and driven Lettings Negotiator to join our rapidly growing department based in Ringwood. Reporting to the Sales & Lettings Manager, the Lettings Negotiator will be responsible for managing the end to end property letting process and property management of retirement apartments across the country.
Your responsibilities will include:
6. Generating, booking and conducting market appraisals
7. Generating, arranging and following up viewings
8. Negotiating the best possible price for our Landlords
9. Keeping Landlords up to date with the marketing of their property
10. Increasing our portfolio of available and let properties
11. Working closely with Lodge/Development Managers and Contractors
12. Preparing and processing all paperwork for new tenancies, existing tenancies, renewals and terminations
13. Processing rental payments and contractor invoices
14. Bank reconciliation
15. Property Management service for our fully managed portfolio
16. Arranging EICR’s, EPC’s, inventories, and all other legal obligations to ensure all properties comply with current legislation
17. Communicating the lifestyle benefits of Retirement Living and other USP’s
18. Prepare marketing brochures for each property
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the job holder may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Sales & Lettings Manager from time to time.
Office hours are Monday to Thursday, 09:00 to 17:30 and Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.
About You
This role is perfect for a motivated, successful, and experienced Lettings Negotiator who is looking to join a forward thinking, supportive company.
Previous lettings and/or property management experience is essential for this role, as is demonstrable knowledge of current legislation. Full training and support will be given, along with the opportunity to gain professional qualifications (ARLA/CELA).
Our new colleague will be at the forefront of our lettings department, and it is therefore essential that you are able to communicate effectively, are self-motivated, organised and driven to achieve and exceed targets. As a customer-service professional, you’ll be willing to go the extra mile to support our Landlords and Tenants.
You will have excellent computer skills, being familiar with MS Office applications and a high standard of written and spoken English.
