We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded primary school in Knowsley. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines general classroom support with leading PE and after-school sports sessions.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting teachers across the school to deliver engaging lessons.
* Providing small groups and 1:1 support to help pupils achieve their potential.
* Planning and delivering active, inclusive PE sessions during lunchtime.
* Leading fun and structured after-school sports activities (3:00-5:00 PM).
* Building strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in a UK school setting (essential).
* A background in sports coaching or physical activity delivery.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A current DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
* Two recent references (including one safeguarding-related).
