Hours: 10pm 4am
Progression role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Host / Hostess who is ambitions and eager to develop towards a senior management role within a fast-expanding, international hospitality group;
A bout the Role
As a Senior Host/Hostess at NYX, you will be the first point of contact for our discerning guests, setting the tone for their evening. You will manage reservations, oversee guest check-ins, and ensure smooth entry operations. A key part of the role is to cover the Door Manager in their absence, taking responsibility for the guest experience and leading the team at the front of house.
In addition, the Senior Host/Hostess will guide guests to their tables, ensuring a seamless and polished handover to the service team, creating a flawless start to their NYX experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and host guests with warmth, discretion, and professionalism
Manage guest lists, reservations, and entry flow with accuracy
Guide guests to their allocated tables and introduce them to their server
Cover the Door Manager in their absence, supporting and guiding the team
Build and maintain strong relationships with regular guests and VIPs
Prepare and oversee nightly reports, ensuring high service standards
Act as a brand ambassador for NYX and GAIA
What Were Looking For
Previous experience in a luxury nightclub, high-end restaurant, or members club
Strong organisational skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A polished, professional appearance and positive attitude
Passion for hospitality and ambition to progress to more senior roles
